1981 Donruss Baseball Wax Box
36 packs per box, 18 cards per pack
In 1981 Donruss launched itself into the baseball card market with a 600-card set. This would be the only year that Donruss was allowed to have any confectionary product in their packs. The standard-size cards are printed on thin stock and more than one pose exists for several popular players. Numerous errors of the first print run were later corrected by the company. The key Rookie Cards in this set are Danny Ainge, Tim Raines, and Jeff Reardon.
