48 Packs Per Box, 10 Cards Per Pack
Card fronts of this 396-card standard-size set contained the player's name and position (bilingual text) in a hockey puck on the lower right of the front. Unlike the Topps set of this year, the puck was not issued with a black scratch-off covering. The team name was listed to the left of the puck. Bilingual backs featured a short list of career milestones, 1979-80 season and career statistics along with short trivia comments. Members of the U.S. Olympic hockey team were honored with the USA hockey emblem on the card front.
