On a recent west coast buying trip, one of our buyers came across the widow of former MLB player, and Coach Harry "Peanuts" Lowery.
Lowery played for the Cubs, Reds, Cardinals, and Phillies over the course of a 13 year Big League career. He then went on to Coach for another 18 seasons.
We were able to purchase his collection from his widow, who had kept everything he kept from his career.
The collection includes game worn items, autographs, photos, and several team signed baseballs. Over Peanuts career, he played with several stars and Hall of Famers that appear on these team signed baseballs.
This Official Spalding National League Baseball (Giles Commissioner) was signed by the 1969 Montreal Expos.
Comes with a full letter COA from James Spence.
Ball has 31 signatures including keys Gene Mauch, Rusty Staub, Carl Morton, and Elroy Face. Also comes with the original notes from the authenticator at JSA, and details each individual auto by panel.
