1977/78 Topps Hockey Wax Box (BBCE)
In this box each pack contains one of 22 glossy photo insert cards.
These rounded inserts were identical to the OPC ones except the backs have a different notation!!!
10 cards per pack, 36 packs per box
The 1977-78 Topps set consists of 264 standard-size cards. Cards 203 (Stan Gilbertson) and 255 (Bill Fairbairn) differ from those of O-Pee-Chee. Card fronts have team name and logo, player name and position at the bottom. Yearly statistics including minor league numbers are featured on the back along with a short biography and a cartoon-illustrated fact about the player. Rookie Cards include Mike Milbury and Mike Palmateer.
