Introducing 109 unique collectible cards, the series has one standard set of cards, and three 'Bonus Insert' chase sets, the latter three of which are made up solely of rare, serialized cards. The standard set has two subsets, one 73-card set featuring Beasties from the Cryptid Nation set, available in both standard and foil-coated Parallel printings, and one 10-card Lore set featuring events from and concerning the MetaZoo: Cryptid Nation Illustrated Story.
The three Bonus Insert sets consist of a 23-card set called First Sightings, featuring Beasties, Artifacts and characters from both the Cryptid Nation set and illustrated story, a 2-card Creators set featuring Michael Waddell and Steve Aoki, and a single card promo for the Topps x MetaZoo collaboration.
