Our head video game buyer Tony Meyer recently acquired a copy of The Flintstones: Surprise at Dinosaur Peak that is 100% authentic and works great. This is one of the rarest games that was released on the classic Nintendo Entertainment System and is extremely sought after by high end NES collectors. The game was released in February 1994, very late in the NES lifespan, by Taito which made other high end games like Little Samson. This game was always described as being an exclusive to Blockbuster Video (Ed. Note: Remember Them?!). Thus making the game only available for rent in the video rental store’s but in fact there are many that argue that fact. After doing some more research on the game there have been a lot of unconfirmed reports about the game being sold in retail locations as well as in Blockbuster Video stores. Either way it is still one of the most expensive games on the original Nintendo system. This is the sequel to the first Flintstones game released on the NES; The Flintstones: Rescue of Dino & Hoppy. In Dino Peak you can play as either Fred or Barney as you smash and shoot your way through numerous levels and encounter a prehistoric adventure!
This game has been tested and processed into our inventory and is currently for sale on our website!
