Stateline Sports Cards is a local card store in Grayslake, Illinois, just 45 minutes from Rosemont, the site of the 2023 National Sports Card Convention. Their breaking operation has been going strong for three years, and in less than two weeks, they’ll celebrate one year of their brick-and-mortar.
Having bought into a break with them over a year ago, she now feels a sense of pride and connection, calling it a “full circle moment” to bring them on The Chase after witnessing their remarkable growth. Hayden & Caden said they’re motivated by their desire to be “one of the biggest names in the hobby.” By growing their audience through TikTok’s algorithm, they’re certainly well on their way to accomplishing that goal.

Kobe Jersey Sells In The Golden 100
An NBA Legend’s jersey from one of the most iconic games of this generation was sold in the Goldin 100 – Kobe Bryant’s Achilles Game Jersey. The auction saw the jersey reach $435,000 on May 7th around 11 am. Then, just after noon, a new bid came in for $1 million, more than double what it had been sitting at prior. After that, the gold Lakers jersey sat untouched for the remaining 23 days of the auction. The final $1.22 million price tag (after the buyer’s premium) is just 21% of what a jersey from his 07/08 MVP campaign sold for in September 2022 – $5.8 million.
