Every week we try and feature new faces in our Dave & Adam’s “Leaders of the Pack” from the NFL but this week you will see a couple familiar names on our list of winners. There were some great performances around the league during Week 7 but it was hard to ignore the record-breaking performance by two former LOTP winners.
When it came to the quarterbacks there was plenty of impressive stat lines to choose from. Four QBs threw for over 300 yards and five threw three or more touchdown passes, but only one name came up on both of these lists. Peyton Manning lit up the 49ers defense on Sunday night for 318 yards and four touchdowns in a 42-17 victory for the Broncos to earn LOTP honors at quarterback for Week 7.
Manning added to his hall of fame resume by topping Brett Favre’s record for most touchdown passes in NFL history. Manning’s 8-yard TD pass to Demariyus Thomas in the second quarter broke the record for he 509th of his career. He added one more in the third quarter to bring his career total to 510.
If you’re wondering how many different players have caught a touchdown pass from Peyton Manning, the answer is 45. Trey Wingo and ESPN have compiled a list of all the receivers in video form for your entertainment.

The Dallas Cowboys are off to their best start since 2007 as they won their sixth game in a row with a 31-21 victory over the New York Giants. The Cowboys offense is firing on all cylinders with steady performances from Tony Romo and the passing game plus consistent big days from our “Leader of the Pack” at running back for Week 7, DeMarco Murray.
Murray set an NFL record with his 128-yard rushing performance. He has now rushed for over 100 yards in his first seven games of the year, breaking Jim Brown’s 56-year-old record for most 100-yard games to start an NFL season. Murray leads the NFL with 913 rushing yards through those seven games, which is 371 yards more than any other running back (Le’Veon Bell is second and will play on Monday night).
This is Murray’s third time this season as a Leader of the Pack. With the market on Murray starting to heat up now is a great time to find his rookie cards in 2011 Football products.

There is one new face in our “Leaders of the Pack” for Week 7. Detroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate caught ten passes for 154 yards and one touchdown in the Lions’ 24-23 come-from-behind victory over the New Orleans Saints.
Tate’s 73-yard touchdown catch late in the fourth quarter helped to spark the rally as it brought Detroit back within a touchdown. The Lions defense picked off Drew Brees on the ensuing drive and then went on to score the go-ahead touchdown
Dave & Adam’s has a selection of Golden Tate rookie cards from when he was drafted out of Notre Dame in 2010. We have several autograph and jersey cards from Upper Deck or go back and look at our inventory of 2010 Football boxes to find your own.
