Shaq inks deal with Upper Deck

Upper Deck announced on Tuesday that they have signed Shaquille O’Neal to an exclusive deal that allows them to produce autographed memorabilia featuring the four-time NBA champion.

O’Neal joins UD’s impressive stable of current and former athletes that sign for the company, including fellow basketball icons Michael Jordan and LeBron James.

The new Shaq collection from Upper Deck Authenticated will include several unique and limited edition pieces such as ‘The Show,’ a 46” x 20” image that includes the largest Shaq signature piece ever produced, a “Tegata” featuring Shaq’s impressive handprint surrounded by images from his entire career and a “Breaking Through” that captures The Big Aristotle above the rim, just before he makes a slam dunk – with an actual basketball breaking through the Plexiglas. In addition, collectors can find a dual-signed items showcasing Shaq with other legendary athletes such as Wayne Gretzky.
