Baseball season is in full swing – you can already see the fresh green blades of grass, smell the hot dogs grilling and hear the packs ripping. … Oh wait, the packs ripping is just us baseball fans getting amped up for the release of 2023 Bowman Baseball.
The product that will feature the First Bowman’s of some of the games’ best and upcoming stars releases Wednesday, April 26. This will include the first Bowman’s of up-and-coming players such as Jacob Berry, Lazaro Montes, Cam Collier, Junior Caminero and the big chaser – Druw Jones.
To create an even mightier buzz for the release, Dave & Adam’s has announced a substantial bounty for this year’s product’s biggest chase.
Recently, Dave & Adam’s announced a 30-day, two-option bounty for the 1-of-1 Autographed Superfractor of Arizona Diamondbacks top prospect Druw Jones.
The options are as follows:
- If the Druw Jones 1-of-1 Autographed Superfractor is pulled in the next 30 days after release day, Dave & Adam’s will pay that person $250,000 for the card. While $250K sounds great, there is also another option for whoever pulls this holy grail.
- If the Druw Jones 1-of-1 Autographed Superfractor is pulled in the next 30 days after release day, and the collector wants to hang on to it, Dave & Adam’s will guarantee $1 million to that collector if Druw Jones reaches the Hall of Fame as a position player.
You read that right. Dave & Adam’s has so much faith in the hobby, that if you pull the card and want to hang on to it, we will provide legal documentation that if Druw Jones makes the Baseball Hall of Fame as a position player, we will buy the card from you for $1 million. And you do not have to buy the box from Dave & Adam’s, although we appreciate it if you do, to be eligible for this bounty. We know this sounds crazy, but we will back it with lawyers!
So, collectors, the option is yours. If you pull the card in the first 30 days, you can take the $250,000 and run, or you can see if the hype behind Jones and your patience (literally) pays off and sit on a possible $1 million.
David & Troy break the big bounty news on The Chase
Druw Jones is the son of five-time all-star and 10-time Gold Glove winner Andruw Jones. Andruw, who is currently on the ballot for the Baseball Hall of Fame, electrified baseball with his incredible defense in centerfield and power at the plate. Additionally, his career spanned from the age of 19 to age 35. He finished with a .254 career batting average, 434 home runs and 1,289 RBIs.
Druw Jones on the other hand is currently the No. 2 prospect in the Arizona Diamondbacks farm system, just behind Jordan Lawlar. He is currently in Single-A for the D-Backs. The current projection for Jones’ arrival in the MLB is 2026, according to MLB.com.
As a high school senior, he batted .570 with 13 home runs, 39 RBIs, 72 runs, 33 walks and 32 stolen bases. He was committed to play baseball at powerhouse Vanderbilt, but those high school numbers were more than enough for Arizona to take him with the second pick in the 2022 MLB Draft.
This year’s 2023 Bowman Baseball product will provide the very first Bowman’s of the highly touted prospect and the hype to pull any Jones card, let alone the 1-of-1 Autographed Superfractor , will have collectors ripping and tearing through hobby boxes around the world.
But now, that Druw Jones chase just got a little more interesting with the insertion of this bounty.
