Collector friendly upgrades will be made like non-member subscriptions, a new Gem Mint 10 grade, and redesigned label for the slabs that will now make the grade blend in with the card. They will continue to grade sports and non-sports cards with this transition. With decades of expertise in both the sports card field and the pop collectibles culture, this merger is aimed to give collectors the best experience possible.
CEO of CCG says, ”The card market needs strong competition because competition makes us better, and that’s good for collectors and dealers,” “CGC Cards will win by providing best-in-class grading services with fast turnaround times, affordable prices and strong prices realized,” says CEO Steven Eichenbaum.
