2015-16 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection Hockey certainly tries to live up to its name as it is packed more hits than any previous Ultimate Collection release. Boxes will come with five autograph or memorabilia cards, including at least one rookie autograph or rookie autograph material card. Every autograph in the product is hard signed.
Ultimate Collection promises a robust collection of rookie hits featuring the top stars from this year’s class (McDavid, Larkin, Eichel, Panarin, etc.). The two major sets of rookie content in Ultimate Collection are Ultimate Rookie and 2005-06 Retro Rookies. Ultimate Rookies features autograph cards (#’d to 299 or 99), jersey relics (#’d to 149 or less), jersey autos (#’d to 125 or less) and booklet autos (#’d to 99 or 49). Jersey and jersey autos hits also have patch (#’d to 25 or less), tag (#’d to 5) and NHL Shield logo (#’d 1/1) versions.
2005-06 Retro Rookies brings back the Ultimate Collection card design from ten years ago. You can find Retro Rookies autograph (#’d to 249 or 149), jersey (#’d to 125 or less), jersey autos (#’d to 99 or less), patch (#’d to 15), tag (#’d to 5) and NHL Shield logo (#’d 1/1) hits.
The top 30 members of the 2015-16 rookie class are also featured in Debut Threads. These come in jersey (#’d to 149), jersey auto (#’d to 99), patch (#’d to 5) and patch auto (#’d to 10) versions.
Ultimate Jumbo Materials feature massive 1 5/8″ x 1 5/8″ jersey relic swatches. Base jersey and jersey auto versions are numbered out of 40 with low-numbered Silver Spectrum and Blue Spectrum parallel versions. Look for short printed Jumbo Materials card numbered out of 15.
Additional memorabilia and autograph hits include Iconic Fabrics, Material Achievements, Honored Materials and Ultimate Materials multi-relics. Ultimate Materials come in dual (Combos), triple (Trios), Quads, Sixes and Dozen Booklets versions.
