Bowman Sterling Baseball is the company’s high-end release and with it comes a whopping 18 autograph cards per box. Each pack comes with three signed cards plus one additional rookie or prospect base card.
The majority of the signed cards available in 2014 Bowman Sterling Baseball are Prospect and Rookie Autographs. These cards have numbered basic Refractor parallels plus nine more levels of colored Refractors: Green, Magenta, Orange, Purple, Blue (#’d to 25), Black Atomic (#’d to 10), Canary Diamond (#’d to 3), Red (#’d 1/1), SuperFractor (#’d 1/1) and Printing Plates (#’d 1/1).
Look for more autographed cards, including Sterling Autograph Showcase, which are framed card showcasing ten different draft picks or prospects. Showcase cards have on-card signatures and are numbered to 25. Sterling Silver Autographs cards are ten special one-of-one autograph cards printed on Sterling Silver. Bowman Black autographs, which have been available throughout all 2014 Bowman products, have on-card signatures and are numbered to 25. Dual Refractor Autographs feature signatures from pairs of players.
2014 Bowman Sterling Baseball has two brand new case hits. One box per case will have a numbered Purple Wave Refractor Box Topper. There is the potential one of three numbered parallel versions of the toppers, including Black Wave, Blue Wave (#’d to 5) and Red Wave (#’d 1/1). Cases will also yield one Sterling Die-Cut Autograph from one of 40 players and comes numbered. Parallel versions include Blue Refractor (#’d), Red Refractor (#’d to 5) and SuperFractor (#’d 1/1)
