2014-15 Upper Deck SPx Hockey hits the ice this week

The next hockey release from Upper Deck, 2014-15 SPx Hockey, will leap over the boards on Wednesday. Boxes will have four hits each, and Upper Deck recently showed off some of those hits on their Facebook page.

There are plenty of gorgeous rookie patch autos in SPx Hockey. These Spectrum Light F/X Green parallels are numbered to only ten and include a special inscription. All the hot rookies for this season are in SPx, including Johnny Gaudreau, Aaron Ekblad and Jonathan Drouin.

Shadow Box cards are equally stunning and are some of the hardest cards to find in SPx.

Some other cards to catch our attention include a Gretzky base cards featuring the “Great One” in his Oilers uniform. SPx will be the first chance to find a card of Martin Brodeur wearing a Blues jersey. Brodeur played a few games for St. Louis earlier this season before retiring and joining the team’s front office. The Jean Beliveau dual relic is a great way to remember a great player that passed away just two months ago.
