2014-15 Upper Deck Artifacts Hockey preview

Celebrate the return of NHL hockey on October 8 with the release of 2014-15 Upper Deck Artifacts Hockey. Artifacts is back with another deep collection of memorabilia cards filled with jerseys, patches, fight straps, tags, stick pieces and stick tape. You will likely find one autograph, one multi-player memorabilia and two single-player memorabilia cards in every box.

Within all the subsets of memorabilia cards you will find basic cards that come with jersey swatches and then there are parallels that have more unique pieces in limited quantities. The parallels are where you will find patches, laundry tags or pieces of fight strap.

Look for multi-player memorabilia hits in the Tundra Tandems, Tundra Trios and Tundra Sixes sets. Stick-to-Stick Duos and Trios feature multi-player cards with pieces of hockey stick included. The Stick-to-Stick Red Parallels include pieces of stick tape and come numbered out of seven.

There is one Rookie Redemption in every box of 2014-15 Upper Deck Artifacts Hockey for players that will make their NHL debut this season. You can also find Autographed Rookie Redemptions in 1:160 packs. Artifacts has more autograph-only cards in the Auto-Facts, Top 12 Rookie Signatures and Top 12 Rookie Signatures, 13-14 Updates sets.

The set also contains 100 regular cards along with rookie and goalie cards that are numbered to 999. These cards have five levels of parallels: Ruby (#’d to 599 for regular, 499 for rookies/goalies), Emerald (#’d to 99), Sapphire (#’d to 85), Spectrum (#’d to 25) and Black with both auto and non-auto versions (#’d to 5).
