2013 Topps Heritage Baseball Cards Preview

Tomorrow marks the release of one of the most anticipated baseball card releases of the year, 2013 Topps Heritage! The product is a throwback to 1964 Topps baseball, and features a wide selection of current baseball stars as well as past hobby legends. Here’s what you need to know:

Box Breakdown:

1 Autograph or Relic Card Per Box! (Autographs are now found at 2x the rate of previous Heritage releases)

24 Packs Per Box, 9 Cards Per Pack

Notable Hits/Inserts:

Real One Autograph Cards can be retired or active players and include special editions hand numbered to 64. There are also dual autographs pairing a retired ballplayer with an active player (numbered to 25), triple autographs (numbered to 5), as well as 1964 Cut Signatures (All 1/1’s).

Autographed Relic Cards include Clubhouse Collection Autograph Relics (numbered to 25 or less), Clubhouse Collection Dual Autograph Relics (numbered to 10), and Flashback Autographed Relics (numbered to 25 or less).

Relic Cards include Clubhouse Collection Dual Relics, Esteemed Heritage Book Cards (numbered 1/1 featuring a patch, bat knob, or bat plate), ’64 Mint – Various 1964 coins including JFK Silver Half Dollar 1/1’s!, 1964 Topps Coin Relics (Actual 1964 Topps Player Coins embedded as a relic), 1964 U.S. Postage Stamp Relics, and Clubhouse Collection uniform or bat relics.

Insert Cards include New Age Performers, Memorable Moments, Then and Now, Baseball Flashbacks, News Flashbacks, 1964 Topps Complete Set Redemption Cards, 1964 Topps Tattoos Buybacks, 1964 Bazooka Stamps Buybacks, and more!

The Set is 1-500 with 1-425 being regular base cards. There are 75 High numbered Short Prints which fall 1 in 3 Packs.

Variations include error short print cards, action image variations, and color variations.

Parallels include Venezuelan Parallels, Mini Parallels, and Chrome Parallels (Chrome Refractors, Black Bordered, and Gold Bordered)

Box Loaders include 1964 Topps, 1964 Topps Originals, and 1964 Jumbo Box Loaders.
