We start this edition of #DACWPulls with some amazing Michael Jordan hits. The first comes from a customer in Germany that sent along a hit he pulled from 2014-15 Upper Deck SP Authentic Basketball.
Michael landed this gorgeous autographed Jambalya die-cut that is hand-numbered 3/3. Unsigned versions of this card have sold for $200 in the secondary market. It appears to be a short-printed variation from 14-15 SP Authentic.
The guys at DACW Live have been doing plenty of basketball personal breaks as of late. Chad, one of our regular personal break customers, is a big fan of 2014-15 Upper Deck Letterman Basketball and 2013-14 Fleer Retro Basketball. Over the span of two days, Chad was able to score not one, but four Jordan hits from these products.
DACW Live pulled two Legendary Letterman patch autos (#’d /15) and a Monumental Logos patch card for Chad from Lettermen. They also scored a Jordan auto from Fleer Retro.
If you can’t wait to open your boxes or cases, DACW Live will break them live for you online. Just add “Please break live” in the comments section of the order, but make sure to check that the breakers are in the lounge when you place your order.
2015-16 Upper Deck Artifacts Hockey came out this past Thursday. Artifacts is always a fun product to open in honor of the beginning of a new NHL season. While many collectors are chasing rookie redemptions of Connor McDavid and Jack Eichel, there are also some phenomenal live hits already in packs.
One of the nicer hits we’ve seen so far came in one of DACW Live’s group breaks of Artifacts. They pulled a Evgeny Kuznetsov one-of-one laundry tag relic card. This card just happened to go to one of our favorite collectors that hang out in the DACW Live chat room during breaks, Dom from New Zealand!
Our last hit comes from Chuck who tweeted a picture of a huge hit he pulled from a factory set of 2000 Topps Traded & Rookies Baseball. Every box set comes with one autographed card, and while the checklist features some minor stars, including Barry Zito, Brandon Phillips, Brandon Inge and Francisco Rodriguez, there is one card that stands out above the rest.
Chuck pulled a Miguel Cabrera rookie auto from his set. High graded versions of this card sell for over $2,000 in the secondary market. Ungraded cards can still fetch over $600.
If you pulled a big hit from a box or case you bought from Dave & Adam’s, and want to see it our next #DACWPulls post, just send them to [email protected] or tweet them to @DACardWorld using the hash tag #DACWPulls.
