Even though we are nearly two months removed from the Chicago Blackhawks hoisting Lord Stanley’s Cup and about a month away from NHL training camps opening up, there are still plenty of hockey collectors cracking boxes and cases of their favorite products from Dave & Adam’s. Here are some hockey hits from last week that have us counting down the days until the regular season starts.
Our customer Nathan pulled this phenomenal rookie patch auto of Nathan MacKinnon from 2013-14 Upper Deck The Cup. It’s a beautiful four-color patch and is numbered 14/99.
Speaking of sweet RPAs, DACW Live pulled this Aaron Ekblad four-color beauty in a personal break of 2014-15 Upper Deck Premier. This one was numbered 15/25. Some of the best hockey patch cards we’ve seen have been coming from this product.
14-15 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection has been a pleasant surprise with some of the hits it has been delivering. DACW Live’s group case break was loaded with some goodies, including a Jonathan Drouin autograph, a massive Ekblad patch and the above Aleksander Barkov 1/1 logo shield patch auto. There seems to be a good number of 1/1 Shield cards in Ultimate Collection as I have seen plenty of them showing up Twitter.
Dennis from Indiana sent along this 1/1 Rogers Hornsby cut auto/bat relic booklet from 2012 Panini Prime Cuts Baseball. We currently have a great deal on Prime Cuts, which features some of the biggest names from baseball’s past and present. This is one of the first products with Kris Bryant jersey auto cards from his time with USA Baseball.
We also received some customer hits from Luke. He pulled a few nice cards from Panini Gold Standard and Intrigue Basketball
The #2 Draft Pick redemption card will be a good for a Jabari Parker card from Intrigue. The Oklahoma City quad laundry tag 1/1 is truly a unique find, especially with Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.
Thanks to everyone that has been sending in their hits. If you want to see your hits featured in our blog, just send them to [email protected].
