#DACWPulls: The 12 Hits of Christmas

Now that everyone has had plenty of time to open their Christmas gifts, we thought it would be fun to see what everyone got. We put a post on our official Dave & Adam’s Facebook page and Twitter account asking for people to post pictures of their best hit from boxes they received for Christmas. The response was fantastic and thank you to everyone that sent along pictures. Here are the ones that we thought were good enough to make this “12 Hits of Christmas” edition of #DACWPulls:

#12. Teuvo Teravainen 2014-15 Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey Young Guns UD Exclusives #’d 59/100

“G” tweeted a picture of this nice numbered Young Guns card of the Blackhawks rookie. He and brother-in-law split this box and it looks like G may have got the better half.

#11. Teddy Bridgewater 2014 Panini Totally Certified Football Awesome Autographs Gold #’d 2/5

Jerry W. is a big a Vikings fan so he was excited to post this hit on our Facebook page. A nice rookie auto from Teddy Bridgewater and a lower numbered card as well.

#10. Ty Cobb Topps Triple Threads Baseball Game-Used Memorabilia #’d 24/36

This comes from Mark D. on Facebook. Some nice game-used bat pieces from the legendary Ty Cobb.

#9. Jonathan Toews 2013-14 Upper Deck The Cup Hockey Honorable Numbers auto #’d 12/19

George F. posted this on our Facebook page. It has some great Blackhawks patch pieces, and is numbered to 19 to match Toews’s jersey number.

#8. Tom Glavine Panini Cooperstown Collection 1988 Donruss Buyback autograph #’d 12/20

Brad B. posted this sweet buyback auto on our Facebook page. This Glavine rookie is easy to find in the secondary market, but buyback auto versions command a higher price.

#7. Johnny Manziel, Teddy Bridgewater, Blake Bortles, Derek Carr 2014 Topps Football quad autograph #’d 3/10

Sid B. tweeted us this quad auto of the top rookie QBs from this season. Three of the quarterbacks became starters for their respective teams, but Johnny Football didn’t do so well in limited playing time with the Browns.

#6. Odell Beckham, Jr. 2014 Topps Platinum Football Rookie Patch Auto # /99

Justin S. tweeted us this nice Beckham RPA from Topps Platinum Football. The light makes it hard to see the number but he says it’s out of 99. Nice hit and Beckham cards get hotter with every amazing catch he makes.

#5. Russell Wilson Topps Football Redemption 2012 Topps Chrome Football Rookie Auto

Jerry W. was on a roll as he makes the list twice, this time with a redemeption for a Russell Wilson rookie auto. He said his wife got him six boxes from Christmas.

#4. Kyrie Irving 2012-13 Panini Basketball rookie auto redemption

Bird F. posted this on our Facebook page. He didn’t have much luck with some football boxes but pulled this redemption out of 2012-13 Panini Basketball.

#3. Michael Jordan Upper Deck Letterman Basketball Legendary Lettermen Signatures patch auto #’d 4/15

Ryan A. posted this to our Facebook page. Anything autographed by MJ is definitely a great find plus it comes with an “L” patch.

#2. Kris Bryant 2013 Bowman Chrome Baseball Blue Refractor Auto #’d /99

Jeremy S. posted this on our Facebook page. Kris Bryant is one of the hottest names in collecting for baseball right now.  A couple of these Blue Refractor autos sold for over $600 in the secondary market recently.

#1. Andrew Luck 2012 Topps Continuity auto #’d 5/100

Kim A. posted on our Facebook page a nice Andrew Luck rookie auto found in some packs of 2012 Topps Magic. This card was a special continuity product that was distributed in all 2012 Topps Football products. This could be one of the hardest to find Luck rookie cards out there since only 100 were produced and there was a chance to find one in every 2012 Topps football pack.
