Welcome back to another round of The Best Hits of the Week from the DACW Live Lounge and our team of breakers. Our breaks are streamed live through Twitch, Facebook, and YouTube. When a great card gets pulled, we can’t help but get excited! That’s the beauty of box breaks – you never know what you’ll get and you can’t help but feel a little adrenaline rush every time there’s a pull. Follow along here on the blog as we will be recapping and showcasing some of the best pulls each week.
We start this week with a rare insert out of 2021 Panini Donruss Football – A holographic Downtown insert of the NFL comeback player of the year front-runner, Dak Prescott. Dak’s Cowboys are 5-1 and he is in the top 5 of every major statistical passing category this season!
Next up is a Justin Herbert Rookie Playbook. This foldable playbook card features a jersey patch and a blue ink on-card autograph! Justin Herbert’s 14 touchdown throws and 1771 passing yards are both good for top-10 in the NFL through the first 6 weeks of the season.
Our next card is a Trevor Lawrence 3-color patch RPA! Lawrence was the first overall draft pick of his rookie class. This past weekend, he got his first win in the NFL with his win over the Miami Dolphins in London!
The next big pull of the week comes from 2021 Topps Diamond Icons. Ronald Acuna Jr. is one of baseball’s brightest young stars! His Atlanta Braves are a win away from making the World Series, despite the former NL Rookie of the Year being sidelined for the season in July.
The final hit of the week is a Cody Bellinger 1 of 1 auto out of 2021 Topps Definitive Collection Baseball! Bellingers’ Dodgers are currently battling the Atlanta Braves for a chance to play in the World Series!
