Panini Country Music preview

No set of music trading cards will ever top the greatness of Pro Set Yo! MTV Raps, but Panini is going to try anyway with their first edition of country music cards. Panini America’s Country Music will release this December and come with four hits per box including two autograph cards. Some of the major acts in modern country music are a part of this set, including Miranda Lambert, Florida Georgia Line, Darius Rucker and LeAnn Rimes.

When it comes to autograph cards solo artists are featured with Authentic Signatures. Authentic Combo, Triple and Quad signature cards have multiple autographs and feature members of the same band, including Alabama and The Band Perry.

Panini has also included memorabilia cards featuring clothing or costumes worn by the performers. Silhouette Material Signatures and Prime Material Signatures feature jumbo-sized memorabilia swatches along with a signature. Musician Combo, Triple and Quad Materials have relics from members of the same band or singers that were part of memorable country music collaboration.

Autograph and memorabilia cards have limited parallel versions numbered to 25 or less.

Panini Country Music will also have several sets of insert cards, including Backstage Pass, Fresh Faces, Instrumental, Top of the Charts and Award Winners. Insert cards have four levels of parallels: Blue (#’d to 199), Red (#’d to 99), Silver (#’ d to 49), Gold (#’d to 25).
