Matthew Dellavedova has gone from a virtual unknown into a household name since the start of the NBA Finals. The Australian-born Dellavedova has been getting rave reviews for his gritty and tough defensive play while guarding Golden State star Steph Curry. Jersey sales have skyrocketed and the internet is filled with memes about the second-year player from Saint Mary’s.
The collecting world is also getting on the “Delly” wagon as secondary sales of his rookie cards from 2013-14 are gaining interest. A rookie patch auto from 13-14 National Treasure recently sold for over $250 on eBay and additional rookie autos from last season are going for anywhere between $8-127.
Delladova wasn’t hard to find in Panini products during his rookie season. He appeared in National Treasures, Court Kings, Preferred, Immaculate and more. He also made some of this year’s sets, including Prizm, Select and Totally Certified.
