Panini’s Prime Signatures brand is returning as it’s own product for the first time since 2012. Prime Signatures started out as Playoff release in 2002 and 2004, and then later revived by Panini in 2011. For it’s return to gridiron collecting 2016 Prime Signatures Football will come one autograph per box.
The base set features a hefty 300 cards, including 100 rookie autographs. Supporting the base set are brightly colored insert set printed on foil board, including Prime Timers and New Wave. Inserts have Cosmic and Galactic parallel versions numbered to 100 or less.
Additional autograph content include Rookie Signature Cuts, which got their inspiration from 2004 Playoff Prime Signatures. The checklist features 40 top NFL rookies and are numbered to 199 or less. Prime Prospects Signature provide more rookie autos and numbered to just 99 or less. These also have Black parallels numbered out of five as well as one-of-one printing plates.
Prime Signatures feature autographs of current NFL veterans as well as retired greats. Look for Prime Signatures Swatches jersey auto cards as well. Prime Signatures also have dual, triple and quad auto versions, including Super Bowl Dual Signatures (#’d to 25 or less).
