2016 Panini Contenders Draft Picks Football preview

On the heels of releasing the NFL edition of 2015 Contenders Football, Panini has unveiled the first information for 2016 Panini Contenders Draft Picks Football. Contenders Draft Picks made its debut in 2015 as it gave collectors a chance to grab early autographs of the newest NFL draft class in their college uniforms. Just like the inaugural edition, 2016 Contenders Draft Picks will come with five autographs per box.

The base set will feature members of the 2016 draft class as well as NFL veterans in their college colors. There will be the traditional levels of Contenders parallels, including Bowl Ticket (#’d /99), Cracked Ice (#’d /23), College Playoff Ticket (#’d /14) and Championship Ticket (#’d 1/1) plus printing plates. Class Reunion and Old School Colors inserts will provide additional NFL veteran player content featuring the top stars of yesterday and today. Rookie quarterbacks will be featured on Passing Grades inserts while running backs will have a special Rush Week set.

Rookie players will have autographed College Ticket cards plus signed versions of Passing Grades and Rush Week inserts. Veteran autographs can be found in Alumni Ink, Old School Colors Signatures and Collegiate Connections dual autos. There will be some legendary pairings for the dual autos, including Tom Brady & Charles Woodson, Bo Jackson & Frank Thomas, John Elway & Jim Plunkett and Rob Gronkowski & Nick Foles.
