Panini Elite Extra Edition has always been a surefire way to land autographs from some of the hottest up and coming prospects in baseball. This year’s release is no different with six autograph and one USA Baseball jersey cards per box plus the chance to find ten autograph cards in special hot boxes.
Players that have autograph cards in 2014 Panini Elite Extra Edition Baseball include, Rusney Castillo, Dalton Pompey, Aaron Nola, Bradley Zimmer, Kyle Schwarber, Raisel Iglesias, Gilbert Lara, Jhoandro, Alfaro, Dariel Alvarez, Jose Pujols and Carlos Rodon. Elite Extra Edition will once again have Status die-cute autograph cards with on-card signatures, including a brand new Purple version numbered to 75. Additional autographs can be found on Elite Expectations cards numbered to 25.
2014 Panini Elite Extra Edition has some fantastic dual autograph cards. Passing the Torch are two-sided dual auto cards with a player image and signature on each side. Players in this set are related in some way, including brothers Kyle and Bradley Zimmer and Jorge and Jhoandro Alfaro plus Gary Sheffield and his nephew Justus. Elite Status Dual Autos highlight players that played together on the same team in professional, collegiate or international competition.
Back to the Future Signatures revisits the top selection from the 2013 draft. Autographs in the set include top Cubs selection Kris Bryant.
Panini has also acquired an unique jersey to be used in memorabilia cards for this set. Look for Jose Abreu Throwback Threads cards with pieces of Abreu’s Cuban National Team jersey.
