2014-15 Panini Spectra Basketball preview

Panini Spectra Basketball returns for its sophomore season on the hardwood. All cards in 2014-15 Spectra are printed using Optichrome technology for a look similar to Panini Prizm. Every eight-card box will come with seven autographs or memorabilia cards, and every autograph is an auto relic. One of the autographs is guaranteed to be a rookie jersey auto.

Spectacular Swatch Signatures feature jumbo-sized jersey swatches along with a player signature. Superstar Jersey Autographs feature jersey auto of current NBA stars.

Global Icons are a special case hit that salute international stars of the game. The flag of the player’s home country is displayed in the background of the cards.

In true Panini fashion there are plenty of parallels to chase in Spectra Basketball. One level of parallel that we know about, so far, are the Spectra Red Die-Cuts that are numbered to 25.
