2014-15 Panini Luxe Basketball preview

Panini just unveiled it’s latest high-end basketball creation, 2014-15 Panini Luxe Basketball, and it’s scheduled to be out this July.

Luxe appears to be on par with National Treasures and Immaculate when it comes to the rarity of the cards in the set. All cards will be numbered to 99 or less and will have an on-card auto, a jumbo relic swatch or both. Boxes will come with three autographs and one jumbo-prime memorabilia card.

What makes Luxe stand out is that it’s the first Panini product to feature metal-bordered cards. Judging by Panini’s preview images all metal framed cards will have a signature and feature several levels of parallels.

Luxe will also have die-cut autograph and memorabilia cards.

Auto relics look sharp with the potential for some outstanding patch cards as well.
