Friday Night Magic at Dave and Adam’s Transit Store

For Magic the Gathering players in the Buffalo area, we invite you to come check out our gaming room for Friday Night Magic!

Details on Friday Night Magic at Dave and Adam’s:

• Our Friday Night Magic is a weekly DCI sanctioned Magic Tournament. Everyone is welcome to attend. This tournament uses the Standard Format (Swiss Style).
• It happens every Friday night starting at 6:30 PM and running until approximately 11 PM. There are always 4 rounds of 50 minutes each. Sign up for this event starts at 5:30.
• There is no entrance fee. This event is FREE! We will always have a free booster pack for all who attend. 1st and 2nd place win a special Foil Prize Card. Additional Foil Prize Cards along with random promotional material will be awarded to some players by raffle.
• Players who do well in the event will receive additional prizes in the form of packs or cash based on their record in the event.
• Earn Planeswalker Points to increase your Planeswalker Level and earn Achievement Badges.

Rules:

• Constructed decks must contain a minimum of sixty cards. There is no maximum deck size, but you must be able to shuffle your deck with no assistance. If a player wishes to use a sideboard, it must contain up to fifteen cards.
• With the exception of basic land cards, a player’s combined deck and sideboard may not contain more than four of any individual card, counted by it’s English card title equivalent. All cards named Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, and Forest are basic.

The following card sets are permitted in Standard tournaments:

• Return to Ravnica
• Gatecrash
• Dragon’s Maze
• Magic 2014
• Theros

Directions to the Store:

The Dave and Adam’s Gaming room is located behind our Transit Rd. Store. There is parking behind the plaza – so you can enter directly into the Gaming Room. The store is located in the Transitown Plaza – 4235 Transit Rd., Williamsville NY 14221 (Corner of Transit and Main St.)

If you are planning to stay until the end of the event, it is important that you park behind the building. The front portion of our retail store closes at 10pm, but the event won’t end until about 11pm. If you are parked in the front, you may have to walk around the plaza to your car.
