The Buffalo Bills clinching the 2 seed in the playoffs means a home game in Orchard Park, which in hand means we’ll be hosting another Bills Tailgate Mixer! It’s a 32 spot random team break with the chance to win either a signed TJ Watt or Stefon Diggs signed mini helmet.
The guest for EP. 239 was Justo Vasquez, a breaker from BullpenLA (@Bullpenla on Instagram) who has been in the hobby since 2002. He talks about all the crazy pulls the hobby shop has been seeing and what is going on with Bullpen in general.
A sealed pack of 1952 Bowman was unearthed in a home demolition earlier this week. In a post made on X by Card Vault shows this pristine pack of ’52 baseball still sealed. It was found under a staircase in a Cape Cod home.
Two Shohei Ohtani cards have hit the Goldin auction block. One being a card out of the product of the year, 2023 World Classic Baseball and the other being the dual cut auto of both Ohtani and Babe Ruth, which was hit late last year.
Another Messi Superfractor has surfaced. This time, it looks like it’s the image variation with Messi wearing practice clothes rather than his jersey. Collectors know that these Superfractors are the best cards to hit out of 2023 Topps Chrome MLS considering Messi does not have any autos in that product.
NBA legend Mark Jackson is on X saying that an auto isn’t his. He replied to one collector asking if this was his actual auto, where Jackson replied simply as, “Nope!” This leads collectors to speculate who is signing these cards if Jackson himself is saying they haven’t.
Merekat joined the set for his Merekat Minute to discuss the CFB Championship game between Washington and Michigan.
