What’s Up in the DACW Live Lounge – June 1st

It’s FINALLY here! 2015/16 Upper Deck Ice Hockey has finally hit the shelves, and you can say that the DACW Live Lounge was pretty pumped. Selling out 4 cases in 3 days tends to support that notion as well. It took a while for me to really understand this product’s importance but now I have fully embraced it and I couldn’t be more excited for this release. This year’s release also included Exquisite card inserts as seen in Black Diamond, however there are autographed versions now and it adds an even more thrilling chase. But when it comes to Ice Hockey all the attention is focused on the Ice Premiere /99 cards, specifically Connor McDavid and Jack Eichel.  Unfortunately we were unable to snag either of those two, but it’s going to happen!  Check out some of the big hits we scored from our group breaks.

We always encourage our breakers to show off other big hits that they pull on their own whether it’s directly from our website or winning an auction on eBay, and here are two fantastic hits from two of our best hockey breakers. Justin Z scored that filthy McDavid Auto and the top father-son breaking tandem in the land Marc and Reece snagged that Larkin Exquisite Tribute auto! Finally for my favorite hits of the week…which just came to us on Tuesday. So you may have heard that the Golden State Warriors are going back to the NBA Finals after beating the Thunder on Monday night. In an amazing coincidence we were able to snag 1/1 hits of BOTH of the Splash Brothers (Steph Curry and Klay Thompson). It was double-rainbow level awesome.
