This week we saw the highly anticipated release of 2015 Topps Diamond Football. It marks the final football product that will be released by Topps after 60 years in the hobby. Topps final football product did not disappoint; as its shiny, simplistic design and beautiful patches makes it a fitting conclusion to a great run of football products. Here are some of the big hits we pulled from our case break:
In contrast to the final football product from Topps being released, a brand new baseball product was released, 2016 Topps Legacies of Baseball. Legacies Baseball takes a lot from the old Topps Valor Football brand but with a high-end twist. All cards are hard-signed and feature a shimmering checklist flooded with big rookies, all-stars, and legends. The crown jewel from our case break was this awesome 1/1 Chris Sale auto. It was pulled by a first-timer, further continuing the good luck that Lounge Newbies have shown.
2015 Panini National Treasures Football continues to be a hot break item in the DACW Live Lounge and we snagged two amazing 1/1s from it. The Garrett Grayson shield popped up here in the lounge and the Ty Montgomery was pulled in a personal break. Unsurprisingly, ‘15 Treasures Football has been one of the best releases this year.
For my favorite hit this week, it undoubtedly is this absolutely FILTHY Golden State Warriors Booklet pulled from 2013/14 Panini Preferred Basketball. It features all of the key players from this year’s historic club, along with former favorites David Lee and Jermaine O’Neal. I can’t even imagine what some collectors would pay for it right now considering how hot Warriors cards are at the moment.
That’s it for this week’s entry, we currently sit at 60 Cody Hodgsons in the Cody Count Cup Challenge! I want to see some new faces in the Late Night Lounge this Wednesday night! This may be the biggest list of products I’ve made available for Late Night Break Nights! Take a look and I’ll see you tonight!
