After a week off welcome back to another round of The Best Box Break Hits of the Week from the DACW Live Lounge and our team of breakers…Spoiler Warning: We may need to rename the blog ‘Connor McDavid Hits’! Our breaks are streamed live through Twitch, encouraging participants to interact during the break and are always a fun time; when a great card gets pulled, we can’t help but get excited ourselves! That’s the beauty of box breaks – you never know what you’ll get and you can’t help but feel a little adrenaline rush every time there’s a pull. Follow along here on the blog as we will be recapping and showcasing some of the best pulls each week.
So without further ado, here are some of the awesome, rare, and more valuable cards from our box breaks the past two weeks:
A couple of nice pulls from basketball products – of 2017/18 Panini Contenders Winning Tickets LeBron James #21/25 and 2013/14 Panini Timeless Treasures Treasured Ink Kareem Abdul-Jabbar #6/10! The LeBron needs to be seen in person the colors and design on the Winning Tickets insert this year are phenomenal. Always nice to get a hit from an all-time great as well!
Switching over to hockey, how about a nice quad diamond card from Sid the Kid (are we still going to call him that? He’s going to be 31 in a few months!), numbered 2 out of 5 from 2017/18 Upper Deck Black Diamond!
Finishing off the last couple of weeks of hits with a trio of cards from Connor McDavid. We have 2015/16 Upper Deck Ice Premieres Retro # 32/149, 2015/16 Upper Deck Series 2 Hockey UD Canvas Program of Excellence, and finally 2015/16 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection Autographed Debut Threads # 46/99!
Wow what a few days, the breakers love when they hit a McDavid card! If you want to get in on the action (and you know you do!) check out our box break schedule for more information on upcoming breaks. If you are new to breaking and have some questions still just head over to our box break FAQ for answers to pretty much anything!
