What’s Up in The Lounge – January 20

Let’s break the ice with yet another Connor McDavid (or McDollar$) from the brand new 2015/16 Upper Deck Trilogy Hockey. I guess I really do have an X-Men superpower for pulling Connor autos. Trilogy autos are split into three levels with 3 being the rarest and 1 being common.

In 2014, Panini’s release of World Cup Soccer took the hobby by storm. This year’s 2015 Select Soccer is no different. Big name autos and relics routinely sell for four figures. These two beauties we pulled from our group break surely will be hot on the second-hand market!

2015 Panini National Treasures Baseball is turning out to be one of the best products released all year and we have continued pulling that Kris Bryant kid left and right! We haven’t had a case break without one yet!

Speaking of great releases, think of getting both of these bad boys in a group break of 2015/16 Upper Deck Black Diamond Hockey?! Max Domi is quickly picking up steam in the hobby this year and while he isn’t at “McEichel” heights, he is firmly leading the second tiers of rookies.

As promised here are TWO favorite hits of the week. The first is from 2013/14 Panini Intrigue. It’s selection is really just based on my Milwaukee Buck fandom and my love of Giannis. The second is a 2/2 Roberto Alomar buyback auto from 2015 Topps Archives Signature Series. I am an absolute sucker for late 90s/early 2000s foil cards, and this is no exception.
