Steve’s Buys: A Mix of “Junk Wax” and 1990’s Treasures

Our buying team is always bringing in unopened boxes and cases to add to our inventory. One of our buyers, Steve Snekser, recently bought a wax deal that had a mix of boxes you could affectionately call “junk wax” as well as some 1990’s treasures. When we saw Steve laying out the product to get it checked into inventory, we decided that we had to share some of this stuff. He purchased boxes from pretty much all sports, and even some well known 1990’s non-sport products as well.

The rarest box in the bunch is definitely 1995 Fleer Marvel Masterpieces, of which Steve was able to purchase two. These boxes have become harder and harder to find over the years, and have quite the collector following.

Also in the deal were non-sport boxes of Batman, 1995 Fleer Ultra X-Men, and a mix of sports card boxes including 1995 Fleer Flair Football, a mix of 1990’s Fleer Ultra Football Products, boxes of the underrated 1987 Topps Football, 1990 Classic WWF Wrestling,  and some other 1990’s favorites including Pro Set, Classic, and Pro Line Portraits!

If you are interested in checking out any of the boxes, you can browse by sport and year from our main sports cards section. Alternatively, the X-men boxes as well as the Marvel Boxes can be found in our non-sport card section.

And as always, if you have cards, comics, or collectibles you are looking to sell contact us! Information on all of the items we are currently paying cash for as well as how to get in touch with us can be found on our buying page here.
