Steve’s Buying Blog – Spectacular $76,000 Singles Card Purchase!

I have been buying newer single cards for quite a while now and typically the week before Christmas gets a little quiet as collectors focus on shopping, visiting relatives, and winning their fantasy football leagues! Well that all changed last week when I got in front of an absolutely mind blowing collection of mid to high end singles.  A collector from Virginia was looking to sell off a large piece of his collection and gave us a call after he had some bad experiences selling on his own on eBay. Shortly after our conversation the seller traveled up to our offices in Buffalo, NY. The seller and I sat down and went through what he was looking to sell and determined a buy price for each card.  We were able to come to an agreement on all but 10 cards! Look at how many cards that we are talking about here…does anybody really need more proof that we are the premier destination for collectors looking to sell?
