Dave & Adam’s Buying Team gets Crosby Cup Crazy at Toronto Expo

The Dave & Adam’s Buying Team always manages to bring back some cool hockey cards from the bi-annual Toronto Sportscard Expo. Since the show takes place in the city that is considered to be the center of the hockey universe, it attracts hockey collectors from far and wide. This past weekend was no different as they acquired one of the biggest hockey rookie cards of all time.

This  2005-06 Upper Deck The Cup rookie patch auto (#’d 12/99) was topped the bill of the over $40,000 in purchases we made during the Expo this past weekend. We also picked up three autographs from the next player that could become a generational talent like Crosby has, Connor McDavid. Some of our other acquisitions include Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy autograph cards and complete sets of every O-Pee-Chee hockey set from the 1980s.
