Dan’s Buys: Magic the Gathering Power Cards

I am contacted on a daily basis by people interested in selling their Magic the Gathering cards. People contact me by phone, email, and often times our selling form through our website. From there, I’ll discuss with the seller what they have and make them a quick offer. I know how it feels when you are looking to sell, so I always do my best to get back to people as quickly as possible. Things that help speed up the process are when a seller has a list of items that they are looking to sell as well as pictures of the items or collection. I was recently contacted by a very organized seller who had both of these things.

This individual sent me details on their Magic the Gathering collection broken out in a list along with scans of the cards. This allowed me to make a fast offer for the cards that the seller accepted. Since the collection was small enough that it could be shipped, the seller sent it off securely to our offices and as soon as I received it the payment was on the way. As I mentioned before, I know how it feels to wait on a response about selling your collection, but I also know how it feels waiting on payment. That’s another thing I work on taking care of as fast as we can get it out, and often times it’s the same day we receive the cards. It’s important for me to develop good relationships with the sellers I deal with. I want to be the guy that people take their Magic the Gathering Card Collections to, knowing they can get a strong offer and a fast payment.

Enough with the process of selling to me, let’s get down to what I purchased this time. It was a nice run of Dual Lands from Revised, with real highlights of the collection being the 5 pieces of Power from Unlimited. Included are a Black Lotus, Ancestral Recall, Mox Pearl, Time Walk, and Timetwister. These cards can be found in our Magic the Gathering Cards section. With GenCon right around the corner, these won’t last long.
