The DACW Buying Team recently hit the road on a buying trip to Connecticut. The guys were lucky enough to be able to purchase two original owner collections in Danbury and Waterbury for just over $30,000 CASH! While we lucked out on these two buys being so close together (about 45 minutes apart) we probably overloaded the Sprinter van by at least 500-1000 pounds! Here is the truck after half of the buy was unloaded:
This trip to the Constitution State was incredible as we were able to stock up on a vast amount of wax boxes, sets, memorabilia, and even some singles from all four major sports as well as some entertainment products. Here are just a few of the highlights from the trip:
We also picked up a 1978 Topps Baseball complete set, a few 1982 Topps Traded & Rookies Factory Sets, some 1984 Donruss Baseball complete sets, and some 1989 Fleer Glossy Baseball Factory Sets.
