D & A’s paying top dollar for vintage Magic: The Gathering cards

In case you haven’t heard Dave & Adam’s pays out cash for all kinds of collectibles: sports cards, gaming cards, sports memorabilia, comic books and vintage toys. We are looking to increase our inventory of vintage Magic: The Gathering cards, especially Alpha and Beta releases. To do this we have increased our buy prices on Alpha & Beta release Magic cards to really high levels.

If you are lucky enough to still have your original Magic cards from the initial releases in 1993 or have found or acquired some of these cards then you probably know what a sound investment they might be. The average retail price for a Starter Deck, before the first price increase by Wizards of the Coast in 1995, was just $7.95. If you currently have an Alpha Starter Deck, then Dave & Adam’s will pay you $5000 in cash for it! That’s more than 600 times the original price of that deck in the early 1990s. D & A is also paying $3000 for Beta Starter Decks.

In addition we are paying out $1100 and $1000, respectively, for Alpha and Beta packs. Dave & Adam’s is also paying out $36,000 for Beta Booster Boxes and $40,000 for Alpha Booster Boxes.
