California Comic Con Recap

Some people might think flying from one end of the country to the other for just 24 hours would be crazy. But if there are vintage comics involved then it’s absolutely worth the trip. I’d heard good things about the California Comic Con but I never expected it to be this good. In addition to seeing everything on display from single digit issues of Action Comics to the latest new releases I was able to spend a ton of cash on some amazing books. Books like a CGC 9.6 Fantastic Four #48  (1st appearance of the Silver Surfer) and Walking Dead #1 (1st appearance of Rick Grimes) are just the tip of the iceberg in terms of books that I was able to acquire. All in all this one day show is a can’t miss for any comic aficionado and I’m sure I’ll be back next year. Next up, we head to Seattle March 2nd – 5th for the Emerald City Comic Con at the Washington State Convention Center.
