Bob’s Buys: 1972 O-Pee-Chee Baseball Box

I recently purchased full 36 pack box of 1972 O-Pee-Chee Baseball.  This set is often considered the most eye-appealing set of the 1970’s because of it’s bright colors and design.  With 1970’s and even 1980’s boxes becoming harder to find, it’s always nice to have something like this available for collectors on our web site.

This box, which is now available in the vintage sports card section of our website, contains 36 packs of cards with each pack containing 8 cards. Typically in older boxes like this you will find the gum is stuck to the top card in a pack and that is the case with this particular box. For those collectors that are interested in grading, PSA has recently changed their policy where they will now only graded packs where the gum is stuck to the top card. The box itself is still in good condition except for a small hole in the bottom left rear corner. However, this hole does not effect any of the packs.
