Over the years I can’t tell you how many times I have had people contact me looking to sell their vintage sports cards and they turn out to be either reprints or counterfeit. And for the most part the person looking to sell the cards have no idea.  I have seen counterfeit cards ranging from the early 1900’s up through the 1990’s. While some fakes are better than others, they never look or feel quite right.

I would say the counterfeit card that I have personally been offered the most is the 1986 Fleer Basketball Michael Jordan.
