DACW Live – The Best Box Break Hits of the Week 10/15 – 10/21

Welcome back to another round of The Best Box Break Hits of the Week from the DACW Live Lounge and our team of breakers. Our breaks are streamed live through Twitch, Breakers.TV, and YouTube, encouraging participants to interact during the break and are always a fun time; when a great card gets pulled, we can’t help but get excited ourselves! That’s the beauty of box breaks – you never know what you’ll get and you can’t help but feel a little adrenaline rush every time there’s a pull. Follow along here on the blog as we will be recapping and showcasing some of the best pulls each week.

So without further ado, here are some of the awesome, rare, and more valuable cards from our box breaks the past week:

Kicking off the blog just as we did last week with a 1st Round QB from the 2018 NFL Draft – this time it’s Batlimore Ravens rookie Lamar Jackson. Coming out of 2018 Panini Impeccable Football and numbered 1 of 25! An amazing hit – just look at the colors and breaks of the patches and say what you will about his auto just being his initials but I would take this ‘LJ#8’ over the scribbles that most modern athletes sign now where you can’t discern even one letter let alone their full name.

Let’s keep the theme going and how about this rookie patch auto from 2018 Panini Phoenix Football and Arizona Cardinals QB Josh Rosen. He has not had the start to career as many predicted but that should not dissuade anyone from investing in his cards now. A nice 3 color patch along with the great Phoenix brand design makes this card pop!

Next up a couple of rookies from baseball and hockey respectively – Atlanta Braves phenom Ronald Acuna checking in with a 2018 Topps Five Star Baseball auto and Vancouver Canucks RW Brock Boeser from 2017/18 Upper Deck Premier Hockey numbered /199!

Our final spotlight this week comes from Slam Dunk Champion Donovan Mitchell! 2017/18 Panini Immaculate Collection Basketball brings this 2 color patch (looks to be part of his ’45’ jersey number) and auto from the Utah Jazz phenom!
