DACW Live – The Best Box Break Hits of the Week

best live box break hits

We are reintroducing a feature here at the Dave & Adam’s Blog – The Best Box Break Hits of the Week from the DACW Live Lounge and our team of breakers. Our breaks are streamed live, encouraging participants to interact during the break and are always a fun time! When a great card gets pulled, we can’t help but get excited ourselves. That’s the beauty of box breaks – you never know what you’ll get and you can’t help but feel a little adrenaline rush every time there’s a pull. We will be recapping and showcasing some of the best pulls each week.

So without further ado, here are some of the awesome, rare, and more valuable cards from our box breaks this past week:

2017/18 Panini Absolute Tools of the Trade Lonzo Ball

Very nice card from Lonzo here! Autograph? Check! Jersey? Check! Basketball? Check! This card has it all! I especially love the ‘NB’ of the NBA logoman on one of the basketball pieces! Very nice hit!

2015/16 Upper Deck Portfolio Rooke Phenom Autograph Connor McDavid

A very nice hit from UD Portfolio of McDavid. I’m sure the boys from the breakers will take an autographed rookie from McDavid all day in the lounge!

2017 Panini Flawless Finishes Autograph Cody Bellinger

We go from one young phenom to another just in a different sport. This card of the 2017 NL Rookie of the Year was pulled from Panini Flawless. Numbered out of 10 as well, now that’s a great hit!

2017 Topps Transcendent Cut Signature 1-of-1 Judy Garland (and Toto!)

Wow two amazing pulls from our Topps Transcendent breaks! First up is Judy Garland (The Wizard of Oz, Meet Me in St. Louis, A Star Is Born, among other classic films) arguably one of the most famous actresses of all time! The best part is she signed it from “her little dog” Toto as well!

2017 Topps Transcendent Cut Signature 1-of-1 Babe Ruth

Also from Topps Transcendent came this beauty from the Bambino and Sultan of Swat – the greatest baseball player of his time Babe Ruth! One thing that is nice to see is the penmanship that is often lost on today’s athletes signatures. You can clearly make out each letter in both Judy Garland’s and Babe Ruth’s signature. Both cards are absolute beauties.

So there you have it! It was quite the week for our breakers in the lounge. If you want to get in on the action (and you know you do!) check out our box break schedule for more information on upcoming breaks. If you are new to breaking and have some questions still just head over to our box break FAQ for answers to pretty much anything.
