2015-16 Upper Deck Full Force Hockey preview

2015-16 Upper Deck Full Force Hockey is a brand new release from the exclusive producer of NHL trading cards. While many of Upper Deck’s hockey releases focus on memorabilia or autograph hits, Full Force focuses on specially designed inserts, including foil, die-cuts and acetate card stock.

Full Force has short but sweet base set of just 100 cards. Base cards have die-cut Rainbow parallel versions numbered out of 25.

Boxes will also contain one 3D Lenticular Full Force Freshmen rookie card. With UD having previous experience with 3D cards in some of their Marvel Comics releases, these 3D rookies cards should look impressive. Die-cut parallel versions of the Full Force Freshmen are also available. A checklist hasn’t been released as of yet, so there’s no way to currently know if Connor McDavid or Jack Eichel will appear in this set.

Upper Deck is promising four Rainbow Foil inserts and four die-cut inserts per box. Foil insert sets include Ice Encounters, Draft Board, Thermal Threats and Calder Competitors. Die-Cut sets are Goooal!, Immediate Impact, Valuable Assets and Goooal! Rookies.

Blueprint is a special set that breaks down the skill set of current and former NHL stars. These will land six per box. Rising Force and Dual Force acetate inserts are numbered and printed using a layered design. Gold variations are numbered to 50 or less.

2015-16 Full Force has a limited supply of autograph cards with one landing in every other box. Look for signed versions of Blueprint, Goooal!, Immediate Impact and Valuable Assets inserts.
