Very rare sizable banner that was displayed at Metropolitan Stadium in celebration of the franchise's first October run to the World Series in Minnesota. Measuring 98"-long, this red-white-and-blue cotton flag features symmetrically balanced tiers. Blue at each end, red in the middle and white between the two, the colored sections ascending in length to 48"-tall in the middle. The center is decorated with a large Twins vintage logo. Above, "Win Twins!" highlights the banner and below, in red "1965 WORLD SERIES" proudly denotes the team's run to the pennant. To be hung in the stadium, there are four metal eye hooks on the thick border that lines the top of the item, and an additional two at the bottom.
Please note the tear that is visible on the very top of the white section.
Also, these detailed photos show the condition of the cotton, in an off white condition, with some light stains visible throughout.
